Nice ride, Russ. I never did see the grits--but the lineperson who marshaled you in looked yummy.

Another good one Russ. I thought "Getting Down" was referring to getting down to SWFL. Invitation still open.<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->

Nice ride, Russ. It's especially interesting to watch the spray pattern out to the side that your camera angle catches.

Don, I love my B-hull when the water is flat, so much fun sliding it around.

I did a sort of flying tour of the restaurants around Winter Haven, Lake Wales and Cypress Gardens that are accessible by seaplane. This my aid some in along with the great work Joe Friend has done with places to fly and eat.      Attachments:

When taxing in to Cherry Pockets stay to the right as far as you can there's a large area of very stiff weed stocks protruding out of the water from water plants that were sprayed and are now dead.

Nice Video Russ, Do you have a photo of how your mount the GoPro. I have been using the handlebar mount on the strut braces, but need something to get it out ahead of the wing like yours.

Frank, tis my goal to get down there I have a few things pending but hopefully I can get them out of the way this month before the gathering.

Hey Joe, as promised. The 1' square tube in the hardware aisle. GoPro's come with several sticky back tape mounts. Tape seems to be very sticky. I fashioned a 1 1/4' x 1 1/4' x 1/4' aluminum pad to mount the sticky back GoPro mount to. This will let you mount the camera in all angles. I have a lot of scrap aluminum if you need a piece to make the mount.      Attachments:

I know another video. Don't get a west wind very often but my pancake breakfast at Pappy's grill had me changing runways and landing direction back home.      Attachments:

Another good one Russ. At the 52 second spot, there's a good view of Jon Brown's <br />Seaplane Base. Looks like your lake was a bit choppy.

Russ, Is this strut a custom add-on? (I don't have these on <br />mine.)      Attachments:

I like how you can see the curvature of the earth so well in Florida.

Frank - It's a trick of the picture. We all have this strut. His camera was farther up the main wing strut than you think. You are looking at the strut 1/2 way up the main strut that goes to the wing and also to the rear main strut.

Frank A. Carr - Feb 19,2013   Viewers  | Reply
That was my first and second thought Ken. But it appears, I guess by perspective, to be <br />attached to the Pylon just under the wing.

More GoPro, this afternoon was gorgeous compared to Tuesday high winds near me that kept Burt and I from flying to PAs for their open house. I have horses that take care of at a farm close to me. I have to feed them twice a day morning and evening. The farm is owned by a friend and has lakefront accuses to Little Lake Tennessee just south of Fantasy of Flight. The lake is small and you need the right wind to be safe but on days like this it's a piece of cake. The little girl at the end of the video has had a bunch of rides in my since she was about 5 years old and she loves it when I have time to take her up and let her fly. She just broke her big toe at her judo lessons so no rides until it gets better.      Attachments:
