Very stylish, Russ. Nicely spaced staples and a lovely sweeping curve to the incisions.

Any trouble with your medical after brain surgery, Russ? My MD here says the CAA worries about possible epileptic fits afterwards - even though the medical specialists say that's not going to happen in my case. The CAA's response: 'they have no authority regarding flying' Still hoping for a happy ending, though.

Guys, if it took brains to fly I'd be walking a lot more. I've got a lot of arthritis in my back and neck. In 05 I had cervical fusion of C3,4 and 5. You have 7 bones in your neck and if you fuse the 3 in the center the others have to do more work. There's a nerve that runs from C2,3 up into the back of you head that spreads out across the back of you head. It's only function is to provide sensation. Many time this nerve, called the occipital nerve become damage or pinched as it comes out of the spine at C2, 3. This usually causes pain in the back of the head. It's a saver stabbing nerve pain that most drugs do not work on very well. My pain started last year around September. I had to wait for my Medicare AARP supplement to kick in before I could start treatment, that was in November. Before Medicare will pay for treatment you have to go through physical therapy and if that fails injection before any type of surgery is okayed. I my case right in the middle of getting my neck worked on my back went out so I had to deal with before I could work on my neck problems. The real fix for the occipital neuralgia I had was a sometimes risky cutting of that nerve as it runs up the back of your head. When the nerve is cut there is no feeling in the back of the head and hopefully the pain is gone. In my case I looked for the best Neural surgeon I could fine and one that has done this procedure many times. I found an older doctor in Zephyrhills and I let him do the procedure last week. When I came out of the anesthesia I noticed right away the pain was not there so I guess you could say the procedure was a success but it took many months to get to this point. It's been sore but hopefully well worth the soreness and the clamps come out next Monday, or I may just leave them in and get some tats on my bold head.

Russ,Sounds like it worked, glad to hear it. Now rest like the doctor ordered. <p>Instead of a Tat on your head, consider a decal for your SeaRey. Perhaps "PAIN FREE" would do the job.<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->
