When on a body of water and away from shore, how difficult is it to go from the SeaRey to swim in the water or to get back into the SeaRey? Would you use lowered landing gear to help? Would you just never try this?

Definately lower the gear to assist your reentry. I had to swim after mine after it blew off the beach one day and it was fun climbing in w/o the gear down. <br />The only reason not to do it is during alligator mating season.

Yep, probably good not to resemble an alligator then.

It is very easy to go for swim, especially if water is glassy, you have an 'A' hull, are travelling at high speed and the nose is to far forward.!!!!!!! As for getting back on board.....not sure.
