Maurice Kirk<br />Now this is an adventure, if just a bit over the top.<br /><a href="http://www.kirkflyingvet.com/Diary.aspx?id=231&Year=04/11/04">http://www.kirkflyingvet.com/Diary.aspx?id=231&Year=04/11/04</a>

Well, Chris, this guy seems to be a case study of the rebellious adventurer martyr type. He brings to mind the old maxims promoted by the FAA as the flier’s five hazardous attitudes (Anti-Authority, “Don’t tell me what to do!”; Invulnerability, “It can’t happen to me!”; Macho Man, “I can handle anything!”; Impulsivity, “Just do something!”; Resignation, “What’s the use!”). I suspect the long flying career of Captain Kirk proves that either the FAA was completely wrong or there is dumb luck. (Hmmm, or maybe both?)

Think it began slowly Dan. Certainly seems a bit close to the edge these days though. Had a look at the map for E Aus yesterday. You know howfar this last trip looks?
