All Searey's are invited to bring their pilots to a North Florida Cookout on Saturday October 15th. Nothing but FUN is planned, other than Hamburgers, Hotdogs, liquid libation and Cheeze. Place is Doctors Lake, just south of Jacksonville, and part of the St. John's River. THis is the first unofficial event, of the unofficially formed North Florida Rat Patrol. (The Rat Pack)(thanks Robert Lee). Pat Coyles Seaplane base (his back yard) has a twenty five foot wide long slope boat ramp, and a LARGE Yard for parking. We'll have plenty of High Test Gas available, and Pat has offered bedrooms for anyone wishing to overnight. (Pat is single and has an incredible batchelors pad!) Call Rick Oreair for more info: cell 904-509-6457, or rickoreair@hotmail.com

    Rick,

Sounds like a good time! Doctors lake is big enough, we should be able to find smooth water no matter the wind. Its always nice flying up or down the St. John's River. What does Pat Coyles fly? I will plan to attend.

Robert, You are the unofficial head Cheeze of the unofficial North Florida Rat Patrol, so you have been unofficially nominated as the unofficial Honorary Chairman, whose sole duty is to agitate as many Cat(herders)'s as possible. .. Pat flys many different aircraft in his line of work chasing the bad guys. He works for Homeland Security and flys both Rotary and fixed wing. A neat guy, he used to own a Grumman Widgeon. He was at Garner's this year with a couple of other HS pilots, all who are planning on becoming Searey owners. Should be a lot of fun.

Maybe we can entice Ambassador Gracy, smooth diplomat that he is, into coming back to Florida.
