OK you Down Under Searey types, I am looking to do a walk about in Eastern Australia on or about February 15th. I plan on making land fall in Brisbane and head out from there. Looking for good advice on what to see and where to go. I have no real plan. I just know I want to see Australia since I am getting off the ship there. Is there a train that runs up and down the East Coast?

Robert, Dan & Ann Nickens visited Australia a few years ago and they may be able to give you an 'unbiased' suggestion of what to see and do.

Make sure you come prepared for Crocs, snakes, mosquitoes, sunburn and dangerous spiders........ just kidding.

Rob, do you live near Sydney? Was there on R & R in 67`. Loved the place. Really want the wife and I to go back there sometime. Hope I don`t see any little Charlies about 39 years old running around.

OK what about it Dan and Ann? Give up the goods, what was your favorite part? Anything you may of heard about but did not get a chance to do? What was the prettiest thing you saw, other than Ann?
From what I see most all the Searey guys from Australia on this site are in NSW. Any Seareys around Queensland? What is required for an American to rent a Cessna in Australia? I believe there was an article about this recently in one of the pilot magazines, but have not found it yet on the net.
