Hi Dave:

Great pictures!

I have driven out there dozens of times, and flown out to Cal several times. One comes home from each trip almost overwhelmed by the size..... and beauty of America. Have also done the same thing up here and received the same sense of wonder each time.

Incidentally, I am having a ball flying the A-24,.... now under full-time 'Canadian winter' conditions That extended fall sure was neat (sigh). I installed a hinged door on the back of the rad which allows me to control the coolant temperature from the cockpit. Works great and even keeps the cockpit 'relatively warm'
Best,
Larry

I

I'd love to do a 'low level' across this wonderful continent. It is spectacular from tropopause level but those pictures...and Dan's... sure high light the majesty and splendor of the land.
Glad that you are enjoying winter flying with the A-24. Hope you fly it down to S&F.
