When traveling by SeaRey, I'm always on the lookout for good places to stop for lunch and 93 octane MOGAS. I'll add the few good places I've found, identified by state and province, to this category of News. Please add your own favorites. New York, 20 Miles SE of Buffalo<br />Red Apple Gas Station<br />N42.42.585<br />W 78.27.203<br />93 octane along with 87 Allowed to pull up to the pumps with your plane<br />Pizza, ice cream, convennient store<br />Grass strip NW-SE 1400 feet with trees each end<br />Remarks: Also my air strip 4G2 will be offering 93 octane but cost will be more and hours varialble . Robert - FYI Wallenpaupack in NE Pennsylvania is probably not legal anymore according to PPL (lake owner) - they recently changed the bylaws.<br /><br /><br /><br />Cool map!

Rocks by the shore but easy tie off. Also, looked like plenty of SeaRey accessible gas stations directly across the river from this spot.<br /><br />SC<br /><br />Wacha Wache Marina (Wacama River on the ICW)<br />N33 33' 75 <br />W079 05' 17<br />89 (reportedly with 'Octane Booster')<br />Yes (lunch and dinner)<br />Water<br />Fresh<br />Ramp: good for SeaRey..... right to parking lot....perfect set-up<br />Great place to Land, park, eat, fuel....definitely put this on your XC plan.<br /><br />NC<br /><br />White Lake <br />N 34 09' 00<br />W 078 30' 00<br />93<br />Sort of: Subway next to Gas station and a burger joint nearby<br />Water<br />Nice sandy Beach on far NNE end of lake and easy walk through the trailer park to BP gas station.<br />Not a lot going on for such a nice lake (seems to be one big trailer park) but a great spot for gas and food if you take the inland short cut between ORF and ILM during your east coast XCs.
