Haven't posted much lately cause I have been busy rebuilding one of my wings and getting the new house going. My fuselage has been at PA where Angel has been building and installing my new panel. He reports that it is almost ready and our plans are to trailer the wings down to X61, install them, the tail feathers, flaps and alerons there and fly the plane back to its new home in Marion, NC. We (my wife and I) plan to drive down on Tue., March 20, and stay in a Motel near Bob White until we get her trimmed out, do some refresher training, and await good weather for the flight to NC. Can anyone suggest a decent motel in the area? Nothing fancy needed, just clean. Also if any of you local guys happen by at lunchtime, we sould enjoy breaking bread and talking Searey. Our cell number is 706-982-9569. We would love to hear from any of ya'll and see ya while we are there.

Hey Larry, I'm pretty sure I saw Angel working on your panel. Big dynon? That's what I was told anyway, looks great if that was yours.

Yep, that's it with the Dynon DK 180. It is the combo unit with the EFIS and the engine instruments in one package.

Yes Steve, that's a goodly part of my retirement savings sitting there.

Larry, I don't mean to hijack a thread, but if this is your panel, then would it be safe to assume that this is a photo of your fuel intake? If so, where did you get the two grey 90 degree elbows? I would like to do something similar for Tiki.

Attachments:

Yes that is mine also. I recall that the elbows came from Ace Aviation Supply (aka Ace Hardware) but should be available from Home Depot or Lowe's. I was trying to avoid the flattening of the tubing that tends to happen when bending on a short radius.
