I'm a new Sea Rey owner and have a question...Has anybody installed a drain plug in their plane to get the water out that the bilge pump can't get out? I was thinking behind the first step or between the seat where water collects in level flight. Thx Bob<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or > missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->

Hi Bob, Welcome! You need to get on the SeaRey Technical site (STS). Contact Frank Noordhuis and he'll sign you up.
Regarding your question the answer is yes. I sell them. Here is the link: Reviews&p=SZV2W0000

John:<br /><br />Thanks for posting your site. I have been thinking of getting some of the 3M or similar tape to use as a gap seal. Please email me @JobeckA1@aol.com so I can ask some specific questions. Thanks.

Frank,<br />Do you fly around lake Keowee in SC? Where on the haul did you install the plugs?

Bob,<br />I'm in the early stages of flying my SeaRey here in SWFL. <br />I hope to eventually fly up to SC including Keowee. <br /><br />Here's a photo of the installation at the step of the hull.

What I really need is the Army Corps of Eng to open up Lake Hartwell. We have a place there. Currently <br />Hartwell hardly has water let alone seaplanes.

Are there any lakes near Greer/Taylors where seaplanes are allowed? I have a friend right on Lake Robinson and that one's a definite no. They got on someones case because their kayak exceeded the max length of 18 ft.

It's strange that Hartwell is off limits when so many other lakes that they control in the area are ok.
