I'm looking around Google Earth at some nearby lakes in the event that I actually get to land in water someday and I saw this. If you have Google Earth you can take a look.

Heres my question, if anyone knows:

How can you have a lake created by a man made dam but have no apparent route to realease overflow water? I can see no river or stream anywahere 'downstream' of the dam.

Google Earth.

Its free. Its a great way to explore the world. I like it better than any of the web based sattelite image viewers because you can navigate around faster.

Get it here:

http://earth.google.com/
