On May 20, Dan Nickens brought the 'factory' ship to KORL for our EAA meeting's show 'n tell, while Kerry Richter drove in to present the evening's program. About 15 minutes into the factory promo DVD, my wife's laptop decided it needed to update Vista and shut off!<br /><br />Fortunately, Cap'n Dan is a raconteur extrordinaire and he began telling stories of his Alaska trip. While Dan kept the troops entertained, I switched the projector to his laptop but just didn't have the technical skills to get his slideshow to play, but the Vista machine rebooted and we played another 15 minutes or so of the video. Alas, time ran out and we had to shut it down about 15 minutes from the end.<br /><br />I hope Dan will consider bringing his presentation to a future meeting. Everyone enjoyed his story telling.They also appreciated seeing the SeaRey up close and personal. Kerry & Dan were peppered with questions and it was hard to get folks inside for the meeting!<br /><br />Thanks again, Dan!
