So, when I got back from Oshkosh, the soybeans had finally grown enough to make the the airstrip visible from a long way off. Too bad I am not ready to set out my Searey as bait.

Very nice, Grant. Are you a crop specialist? I hope I can count on you to explain the strange crop scenes often encountered in SeaRey surveys!

Dan,<br />In spite of the fact that I have a thirty year old diploma with my name on it laying around here somewhere that makes reference to a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture blah blah, yada yada, I make no representation as to my proclivity or alacrity as an agrologist or crop specialist. I do however have a semi professional opinion on the existence of the crop anomaly shown in the attached photo. I firmly believe that any strange crop scenes witnessed by the occupants of a SEAREY in flight can be directly attributed to the euphoria created by occupancy in said aircraft. ;~)
