I am interested in all of your checklists for the SeaRey. If you have one you use, I would love to see it so I can use it create my
own. If anyone would want to review the one I create or use it, at your own discretion of course, I would be happy to share. I
expect this process to take several iterations as the checklists are reviewed and refined. Please include the type engine and any
other pertinent information. Thank you.

Do you have a copy of the Recommended Flight Manual, David? It is available from Progressive Aerodyne and includes checklists for the SeaRey.

Paige has promised to give me a copy of it but, according to him, the checklist is pretty rudimentary. I
haven't found a manufacturers checklist yet that I felt was laid out well and dealt with things the way I felt
they should be. Of course, I haven't flown anything really big either so I can't comment on what the big boys
do.

Here is the one I'm currently using. It's the third iteration and I'll probably change it again when I see a better one. Use it at your own risk. It's laid out so it will print two sided on one heavy stock page and line up - TO on one side, Landing on the other. Then you can trim it, take to Kinko's and laminate it with heavy plastic. I put a fuzzy Velcro strip across the top on both sides and the hook strip across the bottom of the panel in the center. That way, it's always where I can see it (if I look). I usually notice it right after I shut down.

Tom,

If you dont have Microsoft Word and Excel, go to www.openoffice.org and download their FREE suite. No trials, no limitations, no nags, no spam.

It emulates all the MS office stuff and does a great job of it. It can open all the MS documents and create them to. The only thing you have to remember is that when you are saving a document, choose to save it in the MS format so everyone can open your stuff.
