Check out this video. The wing tip comes so close to the water. Also listen to the reporter, 'anyone can fly it'

What they didn't mention is after you put on the retractable gear and the motorized wing folding and other options, you have a useful load of around 400 pounds. Sounds like a single seater.

http://www.iconaircraft.com/videos.html?index=7&returnURL=ne
ws.html#icon-featured-live-on-fox-news

Sounds like a fair and balanced report. I didn't watch the whole thing. Did they call it a potential terrorist weapon you store in your garage?

'What's it cost?' 'How much is it?' 'What's the price again, Adam?' 'Can it fly over the roads?' Too bad the Fox News anchors are such airheads.

Actually, it's heartening to see the thing fly. It seems to handle well enough, although I do hope the wingtips are waterproof.

...and it's so easy to land. Only three weeks of training and i can fly from downtown Manhattan to my country home..... I just love marketing.

In recent commentary, the company notes that it is working on 'splash management'. As noted in earlier comments, I expect some modifications will be required to allow the hull-side sponsons to deal with chop. Has there been any indications that the company has completed water-borne tests in larger bodies of water or in modest waves?

Best,
Larry
