    Jerry and Fran Bainbridge trip home to Buffalo NY, from Garner's Landing after 9 days of training in their SeaRey.<br />Update:<br />Departed 1FL0 at 09:15 EDT 08/13/09<br />checked in kbhc 1300 fuel stop .<br />checked in kaik 1700 overnight stop. <br />Fran reports N8068H is running great and the weather was nice after kbhc.<br />Plan departure 08/14/09 for keho.<br />      Attachments:

    Jerry and Fran had a late start out of Aiken, SC do to weather and Fran reported a rough ride but made it to kmrn for the night.

    The oil pressure problem had returned on the flight to West Virginia and Jerry had to add a couple more washers and experienced no more problems from West Virginia. He had to wait for the fog to lift so it gave him plenty of time to work on the problem. Fog was a recurring problem on this trip as they had to wait out long periods of flying time on the ground each morning. Welcome home Gerry and Fran

    Here are the XC stats from Fran and Jerry's trip home to Buffalo NY, from Garner's Landing (1FL0).<br /><br />Total Miles 1,011<br />Total Hours 15.6<br />Total Gal 71.95<br />Gal per hr 4.6<br />Longest Leg 3 Hr 20 min (from 1fl0 to Baxley 14.9 gal (oops - didn't do that again)<br />Avg speed slow - approx 68mphr (which is probably why we got good gas mileage) &amp; climbing mtns avg rpm 5000, 2 dicey but savable landings.<br />Experience - priceless<br />
