Bruce & I just got a phone call from Roy Pinner on Wednesday. He actually called to ask what the name was of the product that we put on our Prop. I told him it was called Prop Guard, and gave him the address and phone number. We haven't heard from him in years. As we were talking, he said, oh, tell Bruce I was inducted into EAA's Hall of Fame at Oshkosh and the induction will be October 16th, 2009. He said they called a few months ago to tell him he was one of the Nominee's, and he figured he didn't stand a chance; but he was picked!

He designed the Drifter, and the Drifter 2 place. I asked him if he ever got any monies for that design, he did not; and he did not want to pursue it. He said getting this honor was enough for him.

Roy built a beautiful SeaRey, then he sold it. He then built an RV7, he just sold that in January. He has finished building a Murphy Elite and was waiting for Montanna Floats to arrive to put them on. So, he'll be flying a seaplane again! He will be bringing that plane down here to Vero Beach, Florida for the winter. Way to go Roy!

Judy

Good for the EAA! Roy built the most beautifully finished SeaRey ever, I think. I've never seen another as smooth as his.

Terry, we put our Scuba Diving movies, and wedding movie on a Cassette which I know is obsolete, but I'm sure it can be somehow 'burned' to a CD, or DVD. Judy
