Saturday, I flew down to Cayo Costa State Park, just North of Page Field and back home along the shoreline and inland waterways the whole time. Fabulous flying day. 245 miles and 4.5 hours with 5 salt water landings. Saw two sharks within 100 yards of wading people, many sting rays, many dolphins and lots of wavy and waving girls.

Did misjudge the wind once and tried to land with the wind instead of into - the water did seem to be going by awfully fast and the plane skipped big time which never happens so I went around...then realized what I did...duh. Then I learned to watch for flags on boats or the beach. Going Northbound, I was smoking along. Really get the feeling of speed at 50'.
