Ladies and Gentlemen Aviators<br /><br />It is American Thanksgiving tomorrow and Vintage Wings of Canada wishes all our friends and veterans in the US a happy time with their families. It is our tradition to offer up a story about an American airman on this most important day of the year. <br /><br />Jesse O. Williams won the Silver Star and the Distinguished Flying Cross for the same mission in 1945, taking a crippled bomber over Japan, then nursing it back to Guam over thousands of miles of Pacific Ocean.
