What is everybody using for music inflight nowadays ? ( thru the headphones ).
I have been looking at an IPods, but they are expensive... and I don't think I need 3,000 songs... ( but I might ).
I'd be playin' it thru a QFR Lightspeed headset
Any ideas ?

I think that any of them will work thru my headphones, but I was hoping to find out what others had tried & found out worked best. I DO know that the difference in players ( IPod, Sansa, et cetera ) makes for a difference in where you get or download the music - for example, IPod people get their files from I-Tunes, right ?

When I'm flying solo, I play my Ipod touch through the jack on the Lightspeed QFR Cc. If Barbara is with me, I plug it into the jack on the panel, connected to the intercom so we both can hear. However, I've found that the music cuts out every time I try to sing along - which doesn't please Barbara at all - since my singing isn't much better than my flying.

I've started playing my iPhone (iPod) music thru my Lightspeed headset which has a convenient input jack. Works great and have also tested with the phone (on the ground) with excellent results. Not a problem for my wife since she hasn't flown with me yet and in any event doesn't like my music.Dennis, if you push your mic away and sing lower it doesn't cut off regardless of your flying.<!-- >'">
' or > missing in user HTML.
