Will someone coordinate all this with Sanford Tower ? Wouldn't a spot away from controlled airspace be better ? Being inside or very near someone's Class C while on another frequency (Gator common) doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Guess that's just the CFI in me.

I don't see any part of Lake Jessup that is not IN Sanford's airspace. I'm Joe Blow coming in to land at Sanford in my prong-tailed doctor killer. I have no idea that there's a gaggle of Seareys that are between me and the airport. The Seareys are not on tower frequency.......hmmmmmmm

I see what you're saying, BUT all arriving traffic at sanford comes in at 1500ft. Us seareys usually stay below 1000ft-especially while around water. Now, obviously we don't go into sanfords airspace to join, but we would be close to the edge as we would meet just south of Jesup.
