I'm working on an advanced seaplane syllabus for the SeaRey. What skills, beyond the basics of the PTS, would you think it most important to teach a new SeaRey pilot?

Helen

Sounds kinda technical since we're talking specifically about the Searey. It can't help but bring up discussion on Searey specific accidents and we work hard to avoid that on this site. Do you have access to the tech site? It would be a great discussion there.

Helen runs a flight school at W29 (Bay Bridge Airport), just east of DC, and is going to use a SeaRey for training.

Rob Loneragan developed an excellent, detailed SeaRey training syllabus. You can contact him or Bill Canino (who purchased the U.S. rights) about it.

Hi, Helen. Take Dan's advice. Have you got the SeaRey yet? If so, you can get access to the SeaRey Technical Site, where all the technical discussions and info are. Phone me sometime: 804-543-7110.
