Kerry mentioned that this Saturday (March 27) Tavares is having a fly-in event. They have requested the maximum number of Seareys and other amphibian type aircraft do a fly over around noon. We are planning on rendezvousing overhead Orlando North Airport on Gator frequency between 1000 and 1015 on Saturday morning and flying to Mt. Dora for breakfast then take off again and do the fly over thing. Hopefully we will have a good turn out for a fun day, weather permitting.

There is room at Tavares to 'beach' your plane. All of the boat slips are occupied but the beach just in front of the Kiddies park to the East is open for us. I went there today to check it out and Bill Neron the city development mgr said they are looking forward to the flyover. I will see you all on saturday at NORTH.

I just want to conintue a thread for the 'orlando area flyers'...Wednesday is supposed to be a very nice day (and my morning class is cancelled). Anyone want to do a breakfast flight maybe to Mt. Dora? Lets burn some gas while we can, this is the windy month..
