S. Carolina while flying north or south, is welcome to stop at Ridgeland airport (3J1).<br /><br /><a href="http://www.airnav.com/airport/3J1">http://www.airnav.com/airport/3J1</a><br /><br />This is the closest airport to where I'm staying, and is now my usual weekend hangout. This seems to be a great little airport with very friendly folks. If I get my Stingray down here, this is where I'll be keeping it. <br /><br />Just be aware of the glider activity.<br /><br />And, I'm told there's a fly-in here this Saturday.<br /><br /><br />

Ridgeland! I've stopped there many times for fuel on the way to and from Florida. Three SeaReys were there a year ago.
