    Everyone has heard of Ayres Rock or Uluru, but there is lots of other interesting scenery in central Australia. <br />This is Chambers Pillar, located very close to the 'geographic centre of Australia'<br />Quite a suitable feature to mark the very centre I reckon.      Attachments:

    How far is that from civilization (anyway you'd like to define it)? Is that an airstrip at the left side at the base? Very cool photo.
