An interesting lunch stop is the Mojave Air and Spaceport (KMHV) near Edwards AFB and Area 51. The Voyager Restaurant is named in honor of the Voyager aircraft, the first aircraft to fly non-stop around the world, designed and built by the Rutan brothers and Jeana Yeager. Tours of the 'boneyard' of aircraft parked on the field can be arranged by the fueler. Plane Crazy Day is the 3rd Saturday of each month. KMHV is home to Scaled Composites, the National Test Pilot School and several other interesting enterprises.
