Wondering if any mid-Flolrida flyers have been to the grass strip at Chalet Suzzane, X25 (http://www.aopa.org/airports/X25#rwy)? Some old reports indicate the grass strip is very rough and I'm wondering about my gear.<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->

I have done touch and goes there several times in the past, but it has probably been about a year since I have been there. The field was rough the last time I was there, but not bad enough to worry about the gear. I really don't know what condition the field is in now. Also be careful of the runway lights, the field looks wide from the air, however the distance between the runway marker lights makes it a little narrow. I have never been to the restaurant as I have always been told that it is very expensive.

I did a pass down the runway several weeks ago. It looks rough, I did not land. I am sorry to see it in this condition. 20 years ago, it was a great place to take your plane for pictures on the lawn.
