State/Province : California<br />Airport: Furnace Creek (L06), Stovepipe Wells (L09) and nearby Shoshone (L61)<br /><br />MOGAS - Furnace Creek (L06) is the only airport in Death Valley national park with 91 octane at the Chevron station a 1.8 mile round trip walking with your own gas cans, but also has AVGAS 100LL. Cell phone service available as of 2011. Two restaurants and general store same walking distance. Google maps does not show the correct location for the gas station, which is just straight out airport road to the highway 190 between the park headquarters and the Furnace Creek Ranch/restaurant.<br /><br />Stovepipe Wells (L09) has 87 octane only at the gas station, a 1.2 mile round trip walking to gas station and food. <br /><br />Shoshone airport (L61) is 42nm southeast from Furnace Creek and just out of the national park and the walk to the gas station (91 octane) is only .4 mile round trip. Restaurant across the street from gas station.

Harris Ranch Airport (3O8) - 9 nm northeast of Coalinga, California. <br />MOGAS - 91 Octane available at Shell station outside the fence from the aircraft parking ramp. <br /><br />AVGAS available on aircraft parking ramp. <br /><br />FOOD - Harris Ranch Beef is well known for quality beef. Excellent restaurant and deli for takeout.<br /><br />HOTEL/MOTEL - available at the Harris Ranch Inn/Restaurant just across from aircraft parking.
