Here's a very dashing splash: <br /><br /><a href="http://www.aircraftowner.com/videos/view/piper-cub-tight-landing_1873.html">http://www.aircraftowner.com/videos/view/piper-cub-tight-lan<br>ding_1873.html</a><br /><br />The link was posted on the KTAN Users website by Jim Kershaw. He called it 'Tight Squeeze Landing' and said, 'Somehow I think he has done this before.'<br />

The pilot, John Pike, says farther down the page: 'The landing was not as hairy as it appears. We land on our spring fed pond at the end of the season to get it off floats. The Cub has been in the family since 1954. My father traded a $50.00 duck boat for it and I can still remember as a 9 year old the shadow dropping away and the tire spinning to a stop as my brother and I flew with Dad out of the local pasture. I try to bring those memories back every time I fly it.'

Great job getting in that pond. I would guess they fly this thing a lot and know just what they can get away with. I've saw Kerry fly out of and land in that little pond at Gator field and it's smaller than this pond.
