Does anyone happen to know if there's a motel within walking distance of the Tavares SPB? AirNav says the closest is '1.6 miles.' (This is mostly a curiosity question, but you never know when info might be handy.)

If you don't mind parking a few miles south, Don, there is a little Bed Breakfast Lunch Dinner place close to a hangar for your SeaRey.

Check out the Duncan House. It's a lakefront B&B next door to <br />the base. Beautiful place, <br />and it's usually where the riotous seaplane crowd rests their <br />heads at night! Tell Bryan the <br />Jones Brothers sent you, and you might get a good deal!
