    From the PA web site:<br /><br />'Announcement<br /><br />Progressive Aerodyne, Inc., manufacturer of the SeaRey amphibian light sport aircraft located in Tavares, FL, is proud to announce our new and expanding customer ownership and management team.<br /><br />Adam Yang, a SeaRey pilot/owner/builder, joined Progressive Aerodyne as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors effective May 9th, 2011. Having previously served as general manager for business units for US multinational companies including Rockwell Automation, Adam has extensive industry/manufacturing experience in precision machining/assembly, product development, quality control systems, and operation management in manufacturing environments. Adam graduated from Rutgers University with an MS degree in engineering. Adam also holds a private pilots license with land and sea ratings.<br /><br />Kerry Richter, the founder of Progressive Aerodyne, remains as President and principle designer and will be focusing his energy on R&amp;D, company strategy and customer relationships.<br /><br />Also joining the team as General Manager is Joe Friend. Joe is also a former pilot/owner/builder of a SeaRey with more than forty years of experience in engineering design, manufacturing and project management. He has worked with Bell Labs and IBM and is now is responsible for operations at PA as well as leading the effort towards the light sport aircraft certification of the SeaRey.<br /><br />Paige Lynette, is pursuing a fun career of flying a SeaRey in the South Pacific. Wayne Richter is retiring. We are very grateful for the efforts that Wayne and Paige have made over the years towards the growth of the company and wish them the very best in their new endeavors.<br /><br />Progressive Aerodyne continues to produce the world’s premier amphibious light sport aircraft in its current manufacturing facility located in 'America's Seaplane City', Tavares FL.With its strengthened management team and new resources, PA will continue to produce quality products with improved customer service, leading to the expansion of sales to new heights.<br /><br />Our passionate pilot/owner/builder management team is excited about the opportunities ahead of them as well as the new challenges that are sure to come.
