Joel One of the best videos I've seen. I grew up in Redding and it would sure be fun
to bring my Searey out and fly off the river some but it would sure be a long trip from
Texas. Probably take all day !!

Very nice! Who owns the lake?

Many thanks guys for the nice comments. The video was shot the same day but I edited
it from many perspectives. The boy is my son PJ (a naval aviator in training) getting in
with Tom Binsfield (California Sea Rey) and my wife Ronda is the one coming up at the
end. I flew shot gun with Tom and shot the private lake scene and Sac River landing and
take off. I have been toying with the Sea Rey now for 2 years. I almost went with a Sea
Max but have changed my mind due to some bad design flaws. I have told Tom I m in for
my Sea Rey. Will most likely order the LSX version soon. Ive built two float planes in my
day and am really tired of the long build process now.

I am a sea plane rated pilot now plane-less for 5 years.... By the way the lake is owned
by three local doctors who are friends with Tom. Notice the grass/dirt airstrip just after
the water take off from the lake. Cheers

Joel, are you looking for a kit or an already built LSX?

    Daniel
I am looking to buy a new Sea Rey LSX via Tom Binsfield (a friend) of California SeaRey. I will have a builders assist on this one. I will be flying primarily in California with need of high performance due to Sierra mountains.
