Even with all the talk about adequete training for SeaRey owners and prospective owners, it is very difficult to obtain that training.
The future owner of my 1995 SeaRey 80....an advanced ultralight category here in Canada...with an ' A ' hull and very few mods.....has been attempting to set up some formal training either here, or in the USA.

He has contacted the known instructors in Fla. and here in Ontario to no avail. It now appears that he may get some training from PA in Fla. All he is looking for is sufficient training, in a SeaRey, to enable him to avoid any pitfalls converting from his C-150 to the SeaRey. He is not looking for the full rating given at Browns.

What suggestions do any of you have regarding this topic, or any comments regarding how you solved this problem.

As an aside, I took $1000.00 off the price to be applied to training.
John McLeroy did my training when I picked up my Searey. He has a program geared to
new Searey owners. I was impressed with all he covered. His number is 321-287-3650.
Also on another note call Cory Maxwell for insurance, it's half the price of Falcon. His
number is 800-358-8197 Enjoy the Searey it's the best flying there is.
