Shoot, Brent, I want to live it directly. Not comfortable yet with the North Atlantic part, though.

Wayulll... You could get Flight Sim X, and First Class Simulations has a SeaRey in their Discover Arabia package. http://www.firstclass-simulations.com/

Attachments:

I had a similar thought after hearing a recent FlightTime Radio Podcast of woman's description of flying her Mooney around the world. She referenced a website, www.Earthrounders.com, that chronicled other similar flights. I noted a lack of any seaplane who made the trip. Which was surprising because an early round the world flight was by the Army Air Services in 1924 with a flight of Douglas World Cruiser observer seaplanes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_aerial_circumnavigation.

The Earth Rounders had a lot of useful information. the main challenge would be the logistics and getting all the 'Mother May I' diplomatic permissions.
