    I think that plane has fillable floats, ie, they have pick up ports for firefighting but if you slow to hull speed not enough buoyancy to get back on the step. Would happen to a high wing too.<br /><br />There is a nice RV7 on floats around here somehwere, visited our lake a while ago.
