We have an operational 1 on my field... I have always thought it to <br />be an impressive looking sea <br />plane/ flying boat. <br />It's funny this got posted.<br /> I am in the middle of <br />negotiations on a piece of <br />property down here in miami on huge lake ,called Lake Catalina, and <br />over the weekend ..as I was <br />googling some information on the lake, a lot of information came <br />out on PBY Catalina flying boat , <br />and I was reading up on it, just for entertainment an education <br />purposes... I walked over to it this morning and took some <br />photos...

When I find myself with an extra few million $, I'm going to buy one, completely refurbish it and put on a pair of PT-6 turboprops. Then travel the world. Or maybe just wait until I retire and travel the world in my Searey.
