    Hello,Summer is coming slowly here in Finland. But finally I got chance to test my remote controlled camera mount and put short test video on youtube. Here it is.     Well here are pictures of setup. It's totally wireless as this 'camerapod' includes rechargeable batteries, TX for video, remote controlled on-off switches for VideoTX and Camera. Controller side has small display to show what I'm filming. Camera can be turned 360 dec horisontally and 180 dec vertically. Everything else than camerapod RX can be remotely turned off during flight to make it possible to save batteries (altought I have enought energy for about 2 hours with one charge). I made this system during winter. It still needs some 'development' with vibration control as these rolling shutter cameras (like GoPro) are problematic in vibrating environments...<br /><br />One target was to make system that can be used with air-to-air shooting. I think that this can do it. Altought separate cameramen is needed to control only filming and pilot can consentrate on flying.<br /><br />Hope to get some good video material during summer.<br />      Attachments:

    Very clever! Well done! I'm looking forward to your videos. Rolling shutters and vibration don't get along well at all, but I don't see much problem in the video you posted.

    Really nice video Markku. Use of RC camera is great, good show! Now get rid of that "white stuff" along the runway and enjoy the summer flying. Will look forward to more videos.
