I recently have been speaking with a few experienced pilots at Spruce Creek who have been just about everywhere a land plane can take them. They are looking for the next frontier which they think is the world of the amphibian. Florida offers such a large range of possibilities that I think it would be very useful to compile information on all those interesting places to go to and document it for prospective amphibian, more accurately Searey owners, to help them make that life changing decision.
Information I would like to compile includes:Name of the location, Latitude - Longitude and description of location, Description of the site or attractions, Photos of the location, Any other useful info such as name of owner, cuisine, features, time of operation, etc.
If any of you would send me your suggestions, I will further research the suggestions and document the information on this site and try to keep it current.
Thanks for your help and have fun with your Searey.
Joe Friend (joefriend1@gmail.com)

Oh, Oh. Let's keep politics and age discrimination out of these posts. Some of us resemble the "70's" issue. And don't forget the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or we'll call OSHA on ya! :-)

Hey fellas, believe me - I'm no spring chicken myself. But I do know the age range I want to vainly and
hopelessly impress as I slide toward my rapidly advancing years. As the missus says, she doesn't mind
me window shopping as long as I leave the MasterCard in my trousers.

    MasterCard??

There are so many restaurants in Tavares within walking distance I decided not to try to list
them all. Searey access to The Hideaway, according to Kerry, is hazardous and not
recommended.

Joe, if they're looking for places not generally accessible to landplanes, they might find something of interest here: http://www.myfamily.com/isapi.dll?c=Content&htx=List&SiteID=
CnhLAQ&ContentClass=NEWS&CategoryID=257

    Joe,
Dan posted a Florida Restaurant Guide back in 2004 here in
SND. I'll try to post the link. Attachments:
