Hello all,

I edited one movie about one of last summers (2012) trips that I made. It has english subtitles so you can somehow follow what happends. It's story about going to Rantasalmi Fly-In and what happened there and on way back...

It's one hour movie and can be seen on that link.
Attachments:

Marku - it took me a liitle bit to decifer the Finnish language to find the
video link. I really like you Finnish SeaRey logo. What beautiful terrain
to fly over and splash around in. Out of courisity, do you fly in the
winter months? If not at what tempature do you put your SeaRey away
at? Attachments:

Usually 'm not flying during winter, at least now when I don't have plane that have skis. Also I don't have cabin heater in SeaRey... But during spring there are still snow on ground and lakes are frozen when I start flying with SeaRey somewhere around march-aprill time. It's still below zero celcius during nights then. In the other end of the year it starts to be low sealings and dizzing/raining or otherways not flyable weather around october-november time, altough temperature is still somewhere +10...15 celcius.
In general I would say that cloudy low sealing and fog/rain is more limiting than snow on ground here in southern Finland. But during springtime we have some really nice sunny days for flying. Those two pictures are from my first flight last spring, april 8.
In general we have about 6months a year 'good' flying weather. But maybe 2...3 of those are comparable to some Florida/California summer, but just maybe
Attachments:

Cool video, Markku! And thanks for the translations. The only Finnish I could understand was the ATIS.
