You won't find a nicer non-fiction account anywhere of flying across the USA in experimental amphibians, and if you're interested in flying SeaReys you'll learn a lot about that, as well. Dan's photos are gorgeous, of course. If you have read all of Richard's personal blog entries beginning when he bought his SeaRey and on through the end of the trip,<I> and</I> if you looked at all of Dan's photos here on Splash & Dash, then you already know most of what's in the book. Even so, it's better to have them combined into one story and bound into a volume you can hold in your hand. 222 pages and at least 190 color photos. (That's where I lost count.)<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->

Dan, Actually, they're already shipping, as I got my copy yesterday from Amazon. Already half way thru the book. His writing is like the blog last year during the actual trip, very entertaining and well written. Great photos too.

Fantastic book! Makes me want to take my SeaRey on some real adventures. Highly recommended for anyone who hasn't read it.
