Do you have a Favorite Make / Model of Manual PFD ? Purchasing a couple of them and seems like a lot of choices for Manual operated ones.

Those pictured on Kerry and the passenger are fine for seaplanes, Steve. Just be sure they're manually inflated ONLY. You wouldn't want one inflating inside an airplane.

My only reservation about these is that the lanyards seem to be rather long. I'd worry that they might get snagged on something and blow up the PFD when I wasn't expecting it.

Yes - there is a superior one discussed on the technical site. It has pockets over the kidneys for a epirb and survival pouch. And Don's comment about the too long cords is very true. These will definitely snag. I snagged a much shorter one.

Steve, as soon as you have a SeaRey kit or airplane serial number, send it to one of the STS administrators, and SHAZAM! you'll be a member. (You'll also be one of the world's strongest mortals.)

Info about the SeaRey Technical Site appears in the crawl text, near the top of the Front Page.
There are two other STS administrators besides Daniel.
Unfortunately, it's never been clear whether to list the STS administrators' names and email addresses openly on this site. Maybe they can enlighten us.
And just so you know, we Splash & Dash administrators welcome suggestions and requests from members. (Except to allow technical discussions here. To summarize a long history about that problem--it has turned out to be a bad idea, so we don't.)
P.S. Steve Y., I've edited your original post so that the graphic doesn't make the page its own width. It was hard to read that way, especially on small mobile devices. Just click on the small version larger to make it larger, and click on that image to make it full size.
