Thomas tuned on the battery and the plane caught fire!!! <br />No, he had a little production going for the dUbut of his beautiful new LSX and the smoke was to (I guess) make it look like an Icon promo.

Only three SeaReys at Lake Jackson: the Kaliebes, Wayne Nagy and Suzanne and I in the the Playful Pelican. We decided to try Lake Jackson after enjoying Tom's hospitality last year. Fifteen seaplanes attended with Lakes the most represented. A Widgeon and AirCam added interest. The deck setting and food at the Sunset Grille reminds one of the Tiki Bar at Mineola, but larger.<P>A Seabee pilot friend introduced me a 92 year-old local resident who built Seabees. He worked at Republic Aviation for 35 years encompassing the P-47 (Jug), Seabees, F-84, F-105 and A-10. His tales were worth the flight let alone the fun of the splash-in.<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or > missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->
