A cousin just sent me these clips of a flying boat and a seaplane at our place on Lake George, NY.
My mother remembers that arrival, she was about 7 at the time, but I don't recognize her in the pictures.. She's 95 now. Anyone
able to identify these
planes? https://youtu.be/BmGaJzKY7HI

The flying boat looks a bit like this Curtiss, but isn't identical: https://www.google.com/maps/uv?hl=en&pb=!1s0x89d1ab7398853edf%3A0x85f6391d3d29a138!2m19!2m2!1i80!2i80!3m1!2i20!16m13!1b1!2m2!1m1!1e1!2m2!1m1!1e3!2m2!1m1!1e5!2m2!1m1!1e4!3m1!7e115!4shttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.fingerlakes.com%2Fmuseums%2Fglenn-curtiss!5scurtiss%20museum%20hammondsport%20-%20Google%20Search&imagekey=!1e3!2s-0t7kOzzuJ04%2FV9dGQzNcviI%2FAAAAAAAADpU%2Fd8asOe8VxKoWdwBetZ1wjFqB-D4U9XWtgCJkC&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiPp7b83OjRAhWK3oMKHbVXBvQQoioIbTAN

I agree it is very similar to a seagull by Curtis. Wouldn't surprise me if they had as many mods as a searey!
Our family only got this film back from the digitizer today. I specifically asked for this clip of the planes.

That was amazing! Seaplanes on rare occasion flew into my lake in the Poconos in the 30s or 40s, but I have not found any photos in the family archives.
