On Friday I gave a friend, Hardus his first Searey ride. This evening, he bought a Searey off Ebay. Do you think he enjoyed the ride?

He did as did PA. There must be a Commission there somewhere.

Dang Jeff. You should be a dealer. There was a Searey on eBay?

Jeff Arnold - Dec 14,2015   Viewers  | Reply
Yeah Dennis. It is a 1997, 80hp, A Hull, and it had been bid up to nearly $19K before Hardus cut a deal with the seller. It is
sitting at Lower Creek airport, NC27. Hardus and I went to look at it yesterday afternoon.

I've seen pictures of it. Very patriotic. Looks like very early model. Word is the seller buys various planes to fix up and sell.

He has owned it since at least July 2012 when I visited him at his vacation home on Claytor Lake.      Attachments:

That's not the same one I was thinking about. The one I'm thinking about is a very early A hull with stars and stripes paint job.

Is that the Arkansas Go Kart muffler? That's all I can say about it on this site. I have a Titan I'll sell him. I also have a newly rebuilt IVO three blade medium ground adjust prop.

That IS an early one--1DK019, 1995. See http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/NNum_Results.aspx?NNumbertxt=484A

Jeff, I gave a buddy of mine a couple of rides in my planes. He surprised me yesterday when he landed at Gator Field in his brand
new factory built LSA and told me he had been secretly flying with Greg Burntner for the last couple weeks. Nice Christmas gift
to himself. His gift to me was the opportunity to fly his new plane with the Friese alerons. Sweet flying aircraft. Congratulations
Sam and welcome to the Searey family.

Looking forward to a lot of flying with Sam. I will certainly share all that I have learned about Searey flying. Glad that he trained
with Greg Burtner who I know gave him a great base of knowledge. But every flight is a learning experience.

Bill and Jeff, make sure your friends get invited to join STS and Splash and Dash. (As far as I know, PA is still not mentioning the sites to new purchasers.)
