Hello everyone, I just wanted to pass this on for anyone in the Central Florida Area that would like to attend. Dennis was a great guy and would bend over backwards for anyone. He has helped several people learn to fly and get their planes up in running in anyway he could. Gator Field has lost a great man and he will be trully missed.

Below is a message from the President of the Florida Flying Gators:

Yesterday January 16th the Florida Flying Gators family suffered a great loss. Dennis Day, while flying in an Aero Adventure aircraft at the Sebring LSA Expo, was killed in a plane crash This is a tragic loss for his family and his many, many friends. A service for Dennis will be held at Gator Field on Saturday, January 24th at 1:00 P.M.

Donations for the family can be mailed to the club at; Florida Flying Gators, 3795 Lake Mirage Blvd., Orlando, Fl. 32817. Please make donations out to Wanda Day. We will also be accepting donations at the service on Saturday.

Photos of Dennis can be shared with the family at " dennisdaypics@gmail.com "

Dennis Day was such a great ambassador for aviation in central florida. Just about everyone who met Dennis soon found themselves in a Searey, Buc II, or Quicksilver flying from Gator Field. His family is comforted knowing he was doing something that he truly loved. They have asked that those that can attend his memorial service and have a plane to please fly in to Gator Field. We are working to arrange a Fly-By at the end of the service.
