Argh! It's a lovely scene, Dan--but powerlines across waterways really ought to be illegal. One of them diminished our community a couple of years ago, and several I've encountered personally have tried hard to do the same. One across the Ohio River in southeast Ohio is something like 2,000 feet long between supports. It slants diagonally down from a hilltop to an inconspicuous tower on the south side of the river. Over the water it's about 500 feet up, and the day I found it there were no balls or other hints that was there.

It seems that "Governments" are all too happy to ban seaplanes from bodies of water, so how about banning powerlines? Better yet, ban powerlines but not seaplanes!<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or > missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->
