So we just flew back from the Miami international boat show in a friends
plane with the Stratus 2S Love the traffic and weather.
Thinking of acquiring the Stratus 2S at Sun N Fun. But it's been out long enough
I'm thinking of waiting on the 3 any insight ?

Love my stratus 2. Has seen many a plane minutes before they crossed cłose to my path. Have maneuvered more than once due
to it. Justified the cost the first time I turned to avoid traffic. Long time ago, had an article published in a flying magazine under the
"never again" category due to a near miss so I have no problem justifying it.

I love my Stratus 2 (the S does have a few upgrades). I guess you can wait for the latest and greatest ,but as we Iphoners know,
there will Always be upgrades. I use it in the Searey and 310, along with Foreflight. The portability is great.

So do the Stratus have an audible alert in the headset or do you have to keep looking at the display?

Not audible until your passenger says; "what's that red thing on the screen?"
