Our Recent trip to the Whitsundays had us dropping in at Marble Island to overnight at their newly renovated cottage. Words cannot describe how beautiful this Island is. Caretaker Peter sure is a character living on this remote island for the last 15 years. With a well maintained 450 metre grass runway. This is a perfect place overnight, if you find yourself transiting this beautiful area halfway between Mackay and Rockhampton.
