Mendelson's video flight a couple of years ago Bill was had guy. The problem I had was Bill was flying around 75 mph for some reason maybe the bumpy air but it made it hard as hell to match his speed in my plane because it likes to fly around 87 mph., slowing down to Bills steed in that bumpy afternoon air made it a real chore to stay tight on his right wing. Kerry pulled up on my right and kept telling me to get closer to Bill when I was all ready banging wing tips with Bill. Formation flying can be a lot work and everyone needs to know what hell they're doing.
