Description: Last Friday a tornado went thru 2 of the 3 hangars on the east side
of Gators runway. The entire frames of the structures were ripped
from the ground. 4 aircraft were heavily damaged. The clean-up is
progressing and we hope to rebuild quickly. My Searey was spared
thankfully, but the Explorer was banged up. That's my blue Quick
silver in the picture. Gonna take a while to get it flying again.

I opened this expecting a crash considering the title. Actually relieved. Bad news, but none hurt so...thankful?

A crash at the field would be a tragic day. Losing 14 hangars with new roofs and damaging 7 beautiful aircraft is a bad day. We are
very thankful no one was injured.
